The Israel Defense Forces’ (IDF) Arabic-language spokesperson Avichay Adraee confirmed in a statement released on X that a corridor will be established along Salah al-Din Street, which will facilitate civilian movement.
The safe passage will be available for 48 hours, beginning Wednesday at 12:00 PM and ending at 12:00 PM on Friday, IDF added.
The move has occurred against the backdrop of continuing warfare in Gaza, where urgent humanitarian concerns continue to mount as people look for ways out of active combat zones.
