Hit Nine Times in Gang Feud — Now He Testifies in Court

Moss, Norway: The trial has started after the brutal shooting near Mossehallen in November 2023. A 37-year-old Swedish man was hit by nine bullets in what prosecutors believe was a contract killing attempt as part of Sweden's continuing gang wars.

Four Men Indicted. Four men with links to Sweden have been charged with attempted murder or complicity in attempted murder.

All the defendants deny criminal responsibility, according to statements made in court on Wednesday. Heavy Security Presence. The trial is being conducted under strict security measures. There are armed police officers inside and outside the courtroom to ensure safety. The victim, who was shot and survived nine times, arrived in court just before 9 a.m. on Tuesday wearing an orange hoodie. During the opening day of proceedings, he is expected to testify.

Ordered Hit Tied to Swedish Gang Conflict. The attempted killing was ordered by Swedish gang leader Ismail “Jordgubben” Abdo, prosecutors reported. The target was apparently linked to his nemesis, Rawa Majid — better known as “the Kurdish Fox.” The Moss shooting was viewed as part of the bloody power struggle that has plagued Sweden’s criminal networks in recent years.
