A man has been remanded in custody, charged with the murder of a female paramedic in Nordanstig municipality about 300 km north of Stockholm.

According to police reports on Saturday this woman was attacked by a sharp object. She was taken to the hospital but later died from her injuries.
The Accused Confesses to the Crime
According to prosecutor Elin Källberg this is so. "He has confessed that he was present, and that he struck the dead," Källberg said in a press release.
Investigation Begins
The police have launched a full investigation to determine what happened and why. For the meantime, the man remains in custody.
